I met Taylor and Denny last fall when I photographed Denny’s brother’s wedding. It was evident then that these two were very much in love and enjoy spending time together. Taylor was our Miss St. Patrick’s Day Queen 2011 and is no stranger to the camera and can not take a bad photo. It was Denny who surprised me with his quiet playfulness and I hope that they had as much fun during this session as we did. Sharon - Misty, I love your pictures. The upright piano was mine. I was really having a hard time in letting it go knowing that it would probably be gutted – but, I see that it will live on in beautiful photographs. This piano was a 1928 player piano – oh, the stories it could probably tell…. If you have used it in more photographs I would love to see them. It makes me happy to see it that it will live on in photographs and make others happy. Taylor and Denny are such a cute couple.

Misty DeBlasio - Thank you Sharon. It must have been converted to a player piano but the original piano was a 1853 and was certainly a beauty. I tried to use it withpout gutting it but the weight!! My husband took it apart in stages because I tried to save as much as possbile. I hope to use it for many. many more photo shoots. Here is a link to my facebook of some more of the photo’s.
